Millennium gun

Problem

BAe wanted to display a new concept in naval guns at a forthcoming exhibition, however the design for this system was still in the early stages, and it was likely to be several years before a working prototype could be produced.

Solution

Again Lawson's were brought in very early in the design process, and working with BAe engineers produced a full sized working model of the Millennium gun which could be displayed at the exhibition. This model was also computer controlled, and cycled through a series of pre-programmed movements throughout the exhibition.
